Document guides through methods used to collect data from platform services.
By default all platform kubernetes Deployments that expose Prometheus metrics
have required annotations (with prometheus.io/...
prefix) so Prometheus can
discover them and scrape. Use kubernetes_sd_config with role: pod
and role: endpoints
to discover
Kubernetes entities that expose metrics.
Here is an example scrape configuration on how to collect metrics from Kubernetes:
scrape_configs:
- job_name: kubernetes-nodes-cadvisor
scrape_interval: 10s
scrape_timeout: 10s
scheme: https
tls_config:
ca_file: /var/run/secrets/kubernetes.io/serviceaccount/ca.crt
bearer_token_file: /var/run/secrets/kubernetes.io/serviceaccount/token
kubernetes_sd_configs:
- role: node
relabel_configs:
- source_labels: [__meta_kubernetes_node_name]
regex: (.+)
target_label: __metrics_path__
replacement: /api/v1/nodes/${1}/proxy/metrics/cadvisor
metric_relabel_configs:
- action: replace
source_labels: [id]
regex: '^/system\.slice/(.+)\.service$'
target_label: systemd_service_name
replacement: '${1}'
- job_name: 'kubernetes-pods'
kubernetes_sd_configs:
- role: pod
relabel_configs:
- action: labelmap

Kubernetes Jobs that emit Prometheus metrics require Pushgateway. Setup it and use the .Values.secrets.platform.config.PUSH_GATEWAY_URI helm3 variable.
We don’t provide information how to collect metrics from 3rd party services, apart from the ClickHouse. We created a Grafana dashboard for it. Set the clickhouse_exporter to be able to render the dashboard.
